City of New York - Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) is hiring an Interstate Liaison, Bureau of Tuberculosis Control

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact between city, state, and international health agencies
  • Exchange patient data with other jurisdictions following established protocols
  • Process incoming and outgoing TB patient referrals promptly
  • Monitor the status of all patients referred to or from NYC
  • Enter complete and accurate interjurisdictional referral data into Maven
  • Verify that patients moving into or out of NYC during treatment are properly tracked and managed
  • Confirm accurate referral documentation and patient counts
  • Maintain and improve Maven data workflows for quality assurance
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external public health partners
  • Respond to TB-related inquiries from healthcare providers outside NYC
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
