UBS Group AG is looking for an Intern to join the Group Corporate Services Platforms & Shared Services team in Kraków. In this role, you will support activities that help UBS run efficient processes and maintain high-quality information across the organization, gaining practical experience with procurement, vendor management, and risk assessments.
What You'll Do
- Assist with selected daily team activities and project tasks.
- Help collect business requirements and learn how these are translated into simple system or process instructions.
- Support communication with colleagues in different regions.
- Gradually learn how to understand stakeholder needs and provide basic assistance.
- Help maintain information about third party suppliers and ensure data is kept accurate and up to date.
- Support small tasks related to procurement and maintaining UBS’s vendor inventory.
- Assist the team in performing initial steps of vendor risk assessments.
- Learn how the organization checks whether a vendor meets required standards related to quality, security, operational risk, and compliance.
- Help gather information, complete simple documentation, and support follow up actions under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Gain an understanding of why vendor risk assessment matters for a global financial institution.
- Help document basic processes and understand how operational activities turn into measurable workflows.
- Support the team in updating or improving existing procedures where needed.
