Position Overview Seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Specialist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions, ensuring comprehensive psychiatric care and support. The role involves collaborative treatment planning, progress monitoring, and crisis intervention to promote patient mental wellness. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver psychiatric care through onsite and telepsychiatry services - Consult with clinical leadership for complex patient cases - Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations - Implement patient-specific treatment strategies - Manage mental health risks including suicide and violence prevention - Provide emotional support and counseling - Coordinate psychiatric care referrals - Maintain patient confidentiality - Perform medical documentation - Attend required meetings and training - Support program development - Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling Minimum Qualifications: - Licensed Mental Health Professional (Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor) - Oregon state licensure - Minimum 6 months behavioral health experience - Valid professional credentials - American Heart Association BLS certification - Ability to work in high-stress environments - Excellent interpersonal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Forensic psychiatry knowledge - Correctional Healthcare Professional certification - 3-5 years direct patient care experience Physical Requirements: - Ability to walk, jog, and perform physical exertions - Lift up to 30 pounds - Perform emergency medical procedures - Work in challenging environments - Manual dexterity for computer operations Special Considerations: - Minimum 21 years old - U.S. citizenship - Pass medical examination - Background investigation clearance - Potential security clearance - Spanish proficiency preferred Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience, comprehensive medical benefits, 401k, paid time off, potential annual bonus.
