About the Role
The intern will assist in strategic initiatives within manufacturing operations, contributing to projects that improve performance, support decision-making, and align with long-term business goals.
Responsibilities
- Support strategic planning efforts across manufacturing departments
- Conduct data collection and analysis to identify operational trends
- Assist in evaluating current processes for efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership review
- Track key performance metrics and operational KPIs
- Help develop business cases for proposed operational changes
- Participate in process mapping and workflow documentation
- Gather and organize data from multiple internal systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Attend team meetings and provide progress updates
- Identify opportunities to reduce operational waste
- Support change management activities
- Review regulatory compliance aspects related to manufacturing changes
- Assist in benchmarking against industry standards
- Work with stakeholders to define project requirements
- Summarize findings into actionable insights
- Maintain accurate records of project activities
- Use data visualization tools to present information clearly
- Follow established project timelines and milestones
- Apply problem-solving techniques to operational challenges
- Ensure consistency with organizational goals
- Communicate effectively with team members at all levels
- Adhere to company policies and safety protocols
- Deliver final project summary to leadership
