Havas Street, part of a global communications network, is looking for an intern to support its brand activation initiatives from our El Segundo office. This full-time, four-month position blends in-person and remote work, offering direct exposure to event planning, client coordination, and strategic account support.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with planning and coordinating logistics for live marketing events, including venue research, vendor outreach, and permit tracking
- Build and maintain event schedules and databases to keep programs on track
- Contribute ideas during creative sessions and help shape event and product launch strategies
- Monitor media coverage, compile press clips, and prepare summaries for client review
- Support the execution of client campaigns and draft follow-up materials, including program recaps and activity reports
- Stay informed on industry trends and share relevant insights with the account team
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree and prior professional or internship experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with consistent initiative
- Willingness to work in-office Tuesday through Thursday in El Segundo
Preferred Background
- Degree concentration in Communications, Business, Marketing, or Liberal Arts
- Familiarity with experiential marketing concepts and event-driven campaigns
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role: remote on Mondays and Fridays, in-office Tuesday to Thursday. Employees are eligible for overtime compensation.
