Riva is hiring an Intermediate Software Developer in Test (SDET)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent automated test coverage for essential application workflows.
  • Enable quicker and more secure deployments by embedding testing into CI/CD processes.
  • Increase confidence in releases by reducing regression test failures.
  • Provide precise, actionable bug reports and maintain strong collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Develop automated test systems that are stable, easy to maintain, and scalable.
  • Expand and enhance automated testing capabilities across platforms.
  • Create, implement, and support robust, scalable test suites using Playwright and AccelQ, with training provided.
  • Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Embed test execution into deployment and release workflows.
  • Analyze test failures and implement improvements to enhance software quality.
  • Track and evaluate test results to strengthen feedback signals in pipelines.
  • Diagnose failing tests, determine root causes, and review system logs.
  • Partner with developers to fix defects and increase system dependability.
  • Identify and report quality risks early to prevent regressions before release.
  • Collaborate effectively within a software engineering team environment.
  • Work within Agile and Scrum frameworks using Jira and Confluence.
  • Take part in code and test design reviews.
  • Explain technical approaches and decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Help create and maintain technical documentation and testing standards.
  • Support onboarding and mentor junior team members to strengthen team culture.
  • Take initiative in advancing your technical and professional growth.
  • Assess skill gaps and pursue training, certifications, and project opportunities for career development.
