Responsibilities
- Guide clients in choosing and implementing integration and API management solutions such as Kong, Apigee, MuleSoft, or Gravitee, and create comprehensive integration frameworks based on API-first, microservices, cloud-native, and event-driven principles
- Develop event-driven and asynchronous integration systems using platforms like Kafka, Pub/Sub, or EventBridge, incorporating lightweight APIs and workflow automation tools
- Transform outdated integration methods—including SFTP, ETL, and monolithic messaging brokers—into modern, scalable, and resilient architectures based on APIs and event streaming
- Manage and enhance integration platforms across hybrid and cloud infrastructures, enforcing standards for security, reliability, scalability, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, monitoring, and service-level objectives
- Define and enforce API governance policies, monitor key performance indicators for APIs and integrations—including usage, performance, adoption, and cost—and apply AI-powered or agentic tools, including MCP, to automate processes like discovery, documentation, testing, and contract validation
