This contract position involves managing the insurance licensing lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting internal teams with accurate and timely licensing information.
Responsibilities
- Process and track insurance license applications across multiple states
- Verify candidate eligibility for insurance licensing
- Communicate with state departments of insurance
- Maintain accurate records of licensing status and renewals
- Support internal teams with licensing requirements
- Monitor compliance with state-specific regulations
- Respond to inquiries related to licensing status
- Coordinate fingerprinting and background check procedures
- Assist with renewal campaigns for expiring licenses
- Identify and escalate licensing discrepancies
- Prepare documentation for submission to regulatory agencies
- Stay current on changes in insurance licensing laws
- Facilitate onboarding for newly hired agents
- Collaborate with HR and legal teams on compliance matters
- Use internal systems to update and manage licensing data
- Ensure timely processing of endorsement applications
- Provide status updates on pending applications
- Troubleshoot issues with licensing submissions
- Maintain confidentiality of personal and employment data
- Follow established protocols for audit readiness
