Responsibilities
- Supports engineers and technicians in positioning and pre-configuring infrastructure components.
- Conducts physical work at installation sites to support daily operational needs.
- Helps move equipment, racks, shipping containers, and pallets as needed.
- Assists in cleaning and returning facilities to their original state post-installation.
- Disposes of waste and debris in accordance with site requirements.
- Prepares sites and carries out tasks necessary for approved internal and external cabling solutions.
- Aids in installing data and communication cabling, along with mounting racks and cabinets.
- Follows established procedures and instructions from supervisors or lead staff.
- May support testing and verification efforts as assigned.
- Performs cable management, labeling, and record-keeping tasks.
- Helps restore work areas to pre-project conditions after completion.
- Applies foundational technical knowledge and methods to assigned tasks.
- Monitors progress and reports task status to leadership or senior staff.
- Maintains logs, reports, and documentation as instructed.
- Works under oversight but is capable of independent execution on complex tasks and may guide less experienced team members.
