Responsibilities
- Supports engineers and technicians in positioning infrastructure elements and initial setup tasks.
- Executes physically demanding duties at installation locations to support daily project functions.
- Helps transport equipment, racks, containers, and palletized materials.
- Contributes to site cleanup and returning facilities to original state post-installation.
- Handles disposal of waste and debris according to protocols.
- Conducts site prep and deployment tasks necessary for approved ISP/OSP designs.
- Aids in installing ISP/OSP cabling, racks, cabinets, and related hardware.
- Adheres to established procedures and instructions from supervisors or lead engineers.
- May support testing and verification efforts under direction.
- Performs cable management, labeling, and recordkeeping.
- Assists in returning work areas to pre-project condition after completion.
- Applies foundational technical knowledge and methods to assigned tasks.
- Monitors progress and reports task status to supervisory staff.
- Maintains logs and updates documentation as instructed.
- Works under oversight but can operate independently on intricate tasks; may guide entry-level workers.
