Responsibilities
- Supports engineers and technicians in positioning infrastructure elements and pre-configuring systems.
- Carries out physically demanding tasks at installation locations to support daily operational needs.
- Helps transport equipment, racks, containers, and pallets during project execution.
- Aids in cleaning and returning workspaces to their original state post-installation.
- Handles disposal of waste and debris in accordance with site guidelines.
- Conducts site setup and deployment tasks necessary for executing approved ISP/OSP designs.
- Supports the setup of ISP/OSP cabling, cabinets, racks, and related hardware.
- Adheres to established protocols and instructions provided by supervisors or lead staff.
- May support testing and verification efforts under supervision.
- Performs cable management, labeling, and recordkeeping activities.
- Assists in returning project sites to pre-project conditions after work completion.
- Applies foundational technical knowledge and methods to assigned tasks.
- Monitors progress and reports status updates to supervising personnel.
- Maintains logs and updates documentation as instructed.
- Works under oversight but is capable of independent execution on complex tasks; may guide entry-level workers.
