The engineer will be responsible for building and managing scalable infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and supporting development teams with robust tooling and automation.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud-based infrastructure using modern DevOps practices
- Maintain system uptime and performance under variable workloads
- Automate provisioning and configuration management workflows
- Collaborate with developers to optimize application deployment processes
- Monitor system health and respond to incidents promptly
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure layers
- Manage containerized environments and orchestration systems
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
- Troubleshoot network and system-level issues
- Document architecture decisions and operational procedures
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with data protection and operational standards
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical systems
- Scale infrastructure in response to product growth
- Optimize resource usage to control cloud spending
- Work closely with security teams to enforce policies
- Improve observability through logging and monitoring tools
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution
- Contribute to post-mortem analyses after incidents
- Support global service availability across multiple regions
- Refactor legacy systems for improved maintainability
- Promote infrastructure-as-code principles across teams
- Coordinate with product teams during feature rollouts
- Ensure consistent environments across development, testing, and production
- Drive improvements in deployment reliability and speed
