Responsibilities
- Evaluate current information security procedures and develop improved strategies utilizing existing technologies, including generative AI.
- Lead the deployment and administration of security tools and platforms such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM), software inventory controls, and email security systems.
- Enhance and maintain monitoring systems to identify and respond to potential security threats in real time.
- Perform regular security evaluations, vulnerability scans, and risk analyses across cloud environments, applications, and services using both automated and manual methods, including generative AI.
- Participate fully in incident response activities, from detection to resolution and post-incident review.
Requirements
- At least three years of hands-on experience in information security, technology, or a closely related field.
- Proven understanding of core information security principles, IT infrastructure, internet protocols, and enterprise software.
- Practical exposure to security testing tools and scripting.
- Experience with key security platforms including EDR, MDM, email protection, identity providers (IdP), AWS, Azure, and similar technologies.
- Experience deploying secure SaaS-based IT and security applications.
- Knowledge of widely used security frameworks such as OWASP Top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Familiarity with multiple operating systems, including ChromeOS, Linux, macOS, and Windows.
- Proficiency in using the Linux command line and creating simple automation scripts.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in information security, information systems, or a related discipline preferred.
- Industry-recognized certification in information security or management information systems is a plus.
- Experience integrating generative AI into security testing, automation, or operational workflows.
- Hold certifications relevant to securing business-critical applications.
