DMI is hiring an Informatica Administrator

About the Role

The role involves administering Informatica services, supporting data workflows, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure data reliability and platform stability.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Informatica PowerCenter and related components
  • Monitor ETL job execution and resolve workflow failures promptly
  • Maintain high availability and performance of Informatica domains and nodes
  • Manage user access, roles, and security settings within the platform
  • Perform regular health checks and system audits for Informatica environments
  • Support development teams with debugging and optimization of mappings
  • Coordinate Informatica patches and version upgrades
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues between Informatica and data sources
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
  • Document system configurations, processes, and support procedures
  • Collaborate with database administrators for source and target optimizations
  • Assist in migration of ETL processes across environments
  • Monitor server logs and proactively address performance bottlenecks
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies for Informatica metadata
  • Support disaster recovery planning and testing
  • Work with cloud infrastructure teams on Informatica cloud deployments
  • Enforce naming conventions and development standards
  • Track and resolve support tickets related to Informatica operations
  • Provide input on capacity planning and resource utilization
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical system incidents
  • Ensure integration with monitoring tools like Nagios or Splunk
  • Validate data integrity through ETL process audits
  • Support compliance audits by providing system evidence
  • Assist in training junior team members on best practices
  • Maintain version control for ETL artifacts
