About the Role

The Industrial Engineer will focus on enhancing manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflows, implementing process improvements, and supporting production operations through data-driven solutions and engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current production workflows to identify inefficiencies
  • Develop process improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste
  • Use data modeling and statistical methods to support decision-making
  • Create standard work documentation for manufacturing teams
  • Support capacity planning and resource allocation efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project execution
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles across production areas
  • Track key performance indicators and generate operational reports
  • Assist in facility layout planning and optimization
  • Evaluate equipment utilization and recommend upgrades
  • Participate in root cause analysis for production issues
  • Support new product introduction processes
  • Conduct time studies and work measurement activities
  • Maintain accurate records of process changes and improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams on system changes
  • Develop training materials for process updates
  • Monitor inventory flow and material handling efficiency
  • Use simulation software to model production scenarios
  • Lead continuous improvement events such as kaizen workshops
  • Assist in budgeting for capital equipment purchases
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities for manufacturing components
  • Support certification and audit requirements
  • Provide technical guidance to production personnel
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies
