Spin is hiring an IC3 - Software Engineer Mobile

Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced techniques in software design and development to support innovation.
  • Maintain secure coding standards and promote best practices across teams.
  • Deliver code that is functionally accurate, stable, and free from defects or security flaws.
  • Support the creation of thorough and useful technical documentation.
  • Develop clean, efficient code based on specifications from architects and product stakeholders.
  • Build automated tests that effectively validate functionality and reliability.
  • Evaluate UI/UX designs for technical viability and smooth implementation in mobile applications.
  • Enhance application performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve difficult software issues.
  • Integrate continuous integration and delivery pipelines into testing workflows.
  • Keep task tracking up to date using Jira management tools.
  • Engage in pair programming to improve code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Assist support teams in identifying root causes and resolving customer-facing issues.
  • Follow established protocols for secure development and documentation.
  • Actively participate in reducing technical debt through refactoring and modernization.
  • Encourage creative solutions and new approaches in mobile development.
  • Establish clear and testable acceptance criteria prior to starting development work.
  • Develop, automate, run, and record test cases as part of quality assurance.
  • Conduct integration testing to confirm interoperability between components.
  • Evaluate user experience and accessibility to ensure inclusive design.
  • Keep architectural diagrams, operational procedures, and tooling documentation current.
  • Build automation scripts and tools to streamline repetitive processes.
  • Adhere to data handling policies for collection, storage, and access.
  • Produce and share design artifacts and data availability details with data specialists.
  • Collaborate with and guide peers to strengthen team capabilities.
