About the Role
The position involves implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions for clients, primarily children with autism spectrum disorder, using principles of applied behavior analysis. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, designing treatment plans, training caregivers and staff, and monitoring outcomes through consistent data collection and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and skill-based evaluations
- Develop individualized intervention plans based on assessment findings
- Deliver direct ABA therapy sessions as needed
- Supervise registered behavior technicians and other support staff
- Train caregivers and family members in behavior support strategies
- Monitor client progress through ongoing data collection
- Adjust treatment plans based on performance and outcomes
- Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support client goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Conduct parent and caregiver meetings to review progress
- Oversee skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Ensure adherence to insurance and regulatory requirements
- Provide feedback and performance evaluations to direct staff
- Support onboarding and training of new clinical team members
- Assist with client intake and initial assessments
- Coordinate transitions between service settings when necessary
- Promote client independence and generalization of skills
- Address behavioral crises with evidence-based strategies
- Use data to inform clinical decision-making
- Ensure program fidelity across implementation settings
- Maintain client confidentiality per privacy regulations
- Stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis
- Support quality improvement initiatives within the practice
Nice to Have
- Experience with early intervention programs
- Familiarity with telehealth service delivery
- Training in trauma-informed care
- Experience in multidisciplinary clinics
- Knowledge of Medicaid and insurance billing processes
- Leadership experience in clinical settings
