About the Role

The Technical Services Engineer I will provide frontline engineering support for HVAC control systems, assisting with diagnostics, system setup, and resolution of technical issues in coordination with internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to HVAC control systems
  • Support field teams with system configuration and commissioning
  • Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Document technical problems and implemented solutions
  • Collaborate with engineering staff to improve system performance
  • Assist in the development of control sequences and logic
  • Conduct system testing and validation after installation
  • Provide technical guidance to junior team members
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and system changes
  • Participate in training programs to stay current with control technologies
  • Troubleshoot communication issues between control devices
  • Review system schematics and control drawings
  • Assist with the creation of submittal documentation
  • Support project managers during implementation phases
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications
  • Perform remote monitoring and diagnostics when possible
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers as needed
  • Coordinate with vendors for parts and technical support
  • Assist in quality assurance checks for installed systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of service processes
