Responsibilities
- Manages daily implementation of personnel policies and procedures at the designated site.
- Directs and assigns employee onboarding and training initiatives.
- Ensures compensation and benefits administration aligns with corporate standards.
- Proposes updates or improvements to human resource programs based on operational needs.
- Provides input on budget planning for HR-related activities.
- Coordinates affirmative action and employee relations initiatives effectively.
- Supports the creation of separation notices for disciplinary terminations and may conduct exit interviews.
- Develops reports and suggests actions to lower rates of absenteeism and staff turnover.
- May represent the organization in hearings or investigations related to workforce matters.
- May assist in labor negotiations and enforce collective bargaining agreement terms locally.
