Responsibilities
- Managing Housekeeping and Catering Services
- Maintaining a safe, clean and therapeutic environment for patients, visitors, doctors and staff
- Conducting regular audits, quality checks, and documentation ensuring compliance with accreditation, certification, and WHS standards
- Workforce planning and utilisation, coordination of daily workflows and monitoring task completion and standards
- Upskilling and providing on‑the-job training, mentorship, and support to new and existing team members
- Building rapport and communicating effectively with clinical and non‑clinical teams to promptly respond to service provisions and priorities
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years leadership experience with a solid background in catering and environmental services or healthcare management
- Food Safety Supervisor certification
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Demonstrated sound, practical knowledge of cleaning, waste and laundry systems
- In-depth knowledge of Infection Control & Prevention Principles
- Strong human resource management skills
- Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with clinical and non‑clinical teams
