Requirements
- Serve patients within a specified geographic region
- Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions
- Assess patients and create personalized treatment plans in accordance with physician directives and individual needs
- Administer care consistent with professional standards, agency guidelines, and prescribed care plans
- Instruct family members, home health aides, and other caregivers in appropriate therapeutic techniques
- Design and implement occupational therapy programs to preserve, enhance, or restore physical function, reduce pain, and prevent loss of daily living skills
- Conduct and document initial evaluations, analyzing findings to define issues and establish a diagnosis before treatment begins
- Maintain accurate and timely records for every patient visit
- Monitor treatment outcomes at various intervals and modify interventions to ensure optimal results
- Willingness to work with elderly patients
