Responsibilities
- Treat patients within your assigned geographic region
- Deliver individualized, one-on-one therapy sessions
- Assess patients and create customized treatment plans in accordance with physician directives and patient requirements
- Administer therapy that follows professional guidelines, agency protocols, and prescribed care plans
- Instruct family members, home health aides, and caregivers in appropriate therapeutic techniques
- Design and implement occupational therapy programs aimed at restoring, improving, or maintaining physical abilities, reducing pain, and preventing functional decline
- Conduct and record initial evaluations, analyze findings, diagnose issues, and determine treatment needs before beginning interventions
- Maintain precise and timely documentation for every patient visit
- Monitor treatment outcomes throughout the care process and modify interventions to maximize patient benefits
