Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is hiring a Home Care Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Treat patients within a defined service area
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions
• Assess patient conditions and create personalized therapy plans in accordance with physician directives and individual needs
• Administer treatment that follows professional guidelines, organizational procedures, and prescribed care plans
• Instruct family members, home health aides, and other caregivers in appropriate therapeutic methods
• Design and implement occupational therapy programs aimed at maintaining, enhancing, or restoring physical abilities, reducing discomfort, and preventing functional decline
• Conduct and record initial evaluations, analyze findings to identify impairments, and establish a diagnosis before initiating treatment
• Ensure documentation for each patient visit is completed accurately and submitted promptly
• Monitor treatment outcomes throughout the care process and modify interventions as needed to optimize results
