Responsibilities
- Serve patients within a specified service area
- Deliver one-on-one therapeutic sessions
- Assess patient conditions and create personalized therapy plans in accordance with medical directives and individual needs
- Administer treatment that meets professional standards, organizational guidelines, and prescribed care protocols
- Instruct family members, home health aides, and other caregivers in appropriate therapeutic methods
- Design and implement occupational therapy interventions to sustain, enhance, or recover functional abilities, reduce discomfort, and avoid occupational decline
- Conduct and document initial evaluations, analyze findings, establish diagnoses, and determine appropriate interventions
- Ensure timely and precise documentation for every patient visit
- Monitor treatment outcomes throughout care stages and modify approaches to optimize results
- Demonstrate willingness to provide care for older adult patients
