Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is hiring a Home Care Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

  • Manage and treat patients assigned to a specific geographic region
  • Offer one-on-one therapy sessions
  • Assess patients and create tailored treatment plans based on doctor's orders and patient requirements
  • Administer care that meets professional standards, agency guidelines, and the prescribed care plan
  • Train family members, home health aides, and other caregivers on appropriate therapy methods
  • Design and implement occupational therapy programs to enhance, maintain, or restore physical function, alleviate pain, and prevent occupational issues in patients
  • Conduct and record an initial assessment, analyzing the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis before intervention
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation for each visit
  • Assess treatment effectiveness at various stages and modify treatments to achieve optimal results
  • Be open to treating elderly patients
