Responsibilities
- Serve patients within a specified geographic region
- Deliver individualized, one-on-one therapy sessions
- Assess patient conditions and create customized treatment plans in accordance with physician directives and clinical needs
- Administer therapy services that meet professional standards, agency guidelines, and prescribed care plans
- Instruct family members, home health aides, and other caregivers in appropriate therapeutic methods
- Design and implement occupational therapy programs aimed at maintaining, enhancing, or restoring physical abilities, reducing pain, and preventing functional decline
- Conduct and record initial evaluations, analyze findings, and establish diagnoses before initiating treatment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all patient visits
- Monitor treatment outcomes throughout the care process and modify interventions as needed to optimize results
- Demonstrate willingness to work with older adult patients
