Responsibilities
- Manage and treat patients assigned to your specific geographic region
- Offer one-on-one therapy sessions
- Assess patients and create personalized treatment plans based on doctor's orders and patient requirements
- Administer care that meets professional standards, agency guidelines, and the prescribed care plan
- Train family members, home health aides, and other caregivers on appropriate therapy methods
- Design and implement occupational therapy programs to enhance, maintain, or restore physical function, alleviate pain, and prevent occupational issues in patients
- Conduct and record an initial assessment, analyzing data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis before intervention
- Submit accurate and timely documentation for each visit
- Assess treatment effectiveness at different stages and modify treatments to optimize benefits
