About the Role

This position supports internal users by resolving technical issues, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems through direct and remote support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to employees experiencing IT issues
  • Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, and mobile device problems
  • Assist with setup and configuration of new hardware and software
  • Respond to service tickets in a timely and professional manner
  • Escalate complex technical problems to higher-tier support teams
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions
  • Support email and calendar system access and configuration
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues on corporate networks
  • Assist with user account management and access permissions
  • Perform routine system checks and software updates
  • Support video conferencing and collaboration tools
  • Document technical procedures and solutions in knowledge base
  • Follow established protocols for data security and privacy
  • Participate in after-hours support rotations as needed
  • Assist with asset inventory and lifecycle management
  • Support remote workers with connectivity and device setup
  • Install and configure standard business applications
  • Guide users through step-by-step troubleshooting processes
  • Maintain professionalism during high-pressure situations
  • Adhere to change management policies for system updates
  • Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery
  • Support onboarding of new employees with IT equipment
  • Assist in decommissioning and repurposing of old devices
  • Follow documented escalation paths for unresolved issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes
