About the Role

Lead enterprise-wide transformation for a major healthcare organization across the Middle East and Africa, reporting directly to the regional CEO and serving as a key strategic advisor. You will design and manage a comprehensive transformation roadmap, aligning initiatives with regulatory demands, business value, and operational capacity. Your leadership will establish and evolve a centralized Transformation Office, implementing Lean Portfolio Management to prioritize and fund value streams effectively.

Strategic Leadership & Execution

  • Define and adapt the regional transformation agenda, with authority to pause or redirect initiatives that fail to deliver measurable impact or pose risks to compliance and stability.
  • Oversee delivery of a multi-year portfolio spanning digital distribution, customer self-service, claims modernization, provider networks, and core platform upgrades.
  • Institutionalize agile and product-led ways of working across business and technology units, improving delivery speed, predictability, and flow efficiency.
  • Ensure all initiatives are tightly linked to financial, operational, and regulatory outcomes, with clear tracking, auditability, and executive reporting.

Change & Capability Development

  • Design and lead change strategies using proven methodologies, covering stakeholder engagement, communications, training, role clarity, and performance incentives.
  • Build internal transformation capacity by developing roles such as Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Business Analysts, and by fostering Communities of Practice.
  • Champion a culture of hypothesis-driven delivery, lean thinking, and customer-centric innovation across leadership and delivery teams.

Technology & Data Leadership

  • Partner closely with technology teams while maintaining end-to-end accountability for outcomes in platform modernization, data governance, integration simplification, and automation.
  • Advance data foundations to support self-service analytics, AI/ML use cases, and improved decision-making across the enterprise.
  • Lead process re-engineering using Lean, Six Sigma, and robotic process automation to reduce cost-to-serve and operational risk.

Stakeholder & Risk Management

  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Operations, Finance, Markets, and external vendors, managing dependencies through structured coordination forums.
  • Ensure all initiatives meet regional regulatory requirements, owning remediation plans and escalation paths for emerging risks.
  • Provide decision-ready insights to the CEO and leadership team, highlighting trade-offs, delivery risks, and strategic recommendations.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience in transformation, corporate strategy, or large-scale program delivery within regulated, multi-market environments. Proven success in enterprise agile adoption (SAFe), quantifiable business impact, and executive-level influence are essential. Preferred qualifications include an MBA, certifications in SAFe, Lean Six Sigma, or change management, and experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries. Regional experience in MEA is a strong advantage.
