Lead the voice of threat research by representing the company’s intelligence capabilities externally while guiding internal strategy. This role connects real-world cyber threats with product innovation, ensuring that intelligence drives both customer value and market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain trusted relationships across the global threat intelligence community to enable timely, two-way information exchange
- Translate observed adversary behaviors and customer challenges into clear, strategic inputs for product and engineering roadmaps
- Collaborate with marketing to produce authoritative, technically sound content—including reports, advisories, and research summaries—that communicates emerging threats
- Represent the organization as a credible speaker and subject matter expert in public forums, media, and industry events
- Shape narratives around cyber threats using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK® to make technical insights accessible to diverse audiences
Qualifications
- Minimum of 9 years in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat intelligence, adversary tradecraft, or security research
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, both in writing and public speaking, to technical and executive stakeholders
- Strong working knowledge of cyber threat frameworks, including MITRE ATT&CK®, and common tactics, techniques, and procedures used by adversaries
- History of active participation in the security research community through collaboration, publication, or leadership roles
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range of $270,000 – $302,000 USD, with equity, 401k, and performance-based incentives. Comprehensive healthcare coverage includes medical, dental, and vision.
