Lead strategic transformation in a company built to empower individuals across Africa to engage equally in the global economy. As Head of Special Projects, you’ll operate with full autonomy to identify critical challenges, design solutions, and execute from concept to impact.
What You’ll Own
- End-to-end market expansion: evaluate new regions, navigate regulatory landscapes, and lead operational launches
- Drive cross-functional initiatives that fall outside standard departments, turning ideas into measurable outcomes
- Conduct operational audits across teams, pinpoint inefficiencies, and implement data-backed improvements
- Design internal systems and workflows that sustain speed and clarity at scale
- Generate strategic insights through market analysis, competitive assessment, and performance diagnostics
- Integrate AI and automation into manual processes to amplify team effectiveness
- Identify and incubate new business opportunities in their earliest, most uncertain stages
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10 years in operations, strategy, product, revenue operations, or consulting, with at least two years in a high-growth startup environment
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and distill clear, actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects with tangible business impact
- Exceptional communication skills—able to clarify complexity for diverse audiences
- Hands-on experience with SQL, low-code/no-code platforms, or product development centered on growth and user experience is a plus
How You’ll Work
You’ll operate with full flexibility—choose your hours, location, and approach to productivity. With direct access to the CEO, you’ll shape decisions at the highest level. Compensation includes competitive pay and meaningful equity in an early-stage organization.
Our Culture
We build from first principles, move before permission is granted, and redesign systems rather than patch them. We value ownership, speed, and transparency. Our team uses AI as a daily practice, not a buzzword, and aims to make everyone around them sharper. If you thrive in ambiguity and want to shape the future of economic access in Africa, this role is built for you.
