Responsibilities
- Provide line management and daily leadership for the six-person product and design team
- Coach, mentor, and act as a trusted thinking partner to keep the team energised, focused, and aligned towards shared objectives
- Own the end-to-end product delivery process from ideation to release
- Maintain delivery schedules, remove blockers, and sustain momentum while collaborating with engineering and stakeholders
- Balance quality with speed in product development
- Act as a key interface between the product team and customers
- Support successful client rollouts through close collaboration with Customer Success and Sales
- Guide implementation and delivery
- Thoughtfully manage stakeholder expectations
- Act as a key point of alignment between customer needs and product strategy
- Ensure smooth role transition and supportive handover process
- Champion team members' career growth and development

- Foster cross-functional collaboration across Product, Design, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and the leadership team
- Optimise product development processes for efficient, predictable delivery
- Track progress against roadmap goals
- Work closely with the CEO and squad leads to plan effectively and proactively address risks or blockers
- Bring the voice of customers into product discussions
- Shape thoughtful, customer-informed decisions that drive long-term value
- Partner with the CEO on strategic alignment between long-term vision and immediate execution
Requirements
- Proven track record of taking products from initial concept through to launch and adoption, with a focus on user impact and iteration
- Deep understanding of startup dynamics, with a history of thriving in fast-paced, early-stage environments
- Proven ability to empower remote teams (led by a trio of product, design and engineering), drive growth, and lead with empathy and optimism—experienced in guiding cross-functional squads to deliver aligned, high-impact outcomes efficiently
- Strong foundation in product development methodologies (Agile, design thinking, etc.)
- Experience developing and scaling software-as-a-service products for business customers
- Demonstrated success engaging customers collaboratively, identifying novel use cases, and solving complex business problems
- Known for rigorously challenging ideas and assumptions rather than accepting them at face value
- Strong advocate for design thinking, consistently championing user needs across the business
- Enthusiastic about AI applications with solid understanding of core principles, benefits, and limitations
