Responsibilities
- Own the full inbound revenue pipeline from traffic to revenue, ensuring alignment across stages.
- Deliver strong conversion metrics: over 40% of MQLs to demos, over 25% demo-to-win rate, 3–4x pipeline coverage, and CAC payback under 10 months.
- Maintain weekly collaboration with Sales to refine pipeline quality and improve conversion rates.
- Lead analytics, reporting, and dashboarding to inform all marketing decisions.
- Develop scalable inbound channels from scratch, including paid media, SEO, retargeting, intent-based targeting, and founder-driven content.
- Focus deeply on 2–3 high-impact channels instead of spreading efforts across many.
- Run rapid experiments and scale tactics that prove effective.
- Define and manage brand positioning, messaging, ideal customer profiles, and buyer personas.
- Articulate clear competitive differentiation and communicate why the company wins in market.
- Oversee website messaging and core sales enablement materials.
- Treat the website as a key revenue driver, optimizing conversion paths and key user flows.
- Develop high-performing bottom-of-funnel content such as product tours, use case pages, comparisons, and customer stories.
- Ensure all content is directly tied to pipeline generation, not just brand awareness.
- Build the marketing team in stages, starting with hires in performance marketing and content or product marketing.
- Plan for future roles in SEO, design, and marketing operations.
- Lead with regular one-on-ones, direct feedback, and tailored management to bring out the best in diverse team members.
