Role Summary
As Head of Live Games, you will oversee the ongoing success of a growing portfolio of over six live titles, shaping the strategic direction across platforms such as Facebook Instant Games. Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, you'll play a central role in ensuring sustained profitability and long-term EBIT growth while fostering a high-performance culture rooted in transparency and empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term vision for the live games portfolio, aligning product evolution with business goals.
- Lead and develop a team of 3–5 Game Producers, providing mentorship and strategic guidance to enhance decision-making and player engagement.
- Establish frameworks that enable teams to independently identify high-impact features and operational improvements.
- Optimize team structures and resource allocation, balancing internal development with external partnerships.
- Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies, including organizational adjustments when necessary.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring games remain a meaningful part of players’ daily routines.
- Communicate clearly and consistently through change, maintaining team stability and focus during transitions.
Qualifications
You bring at least eight years of leadership experience in game studios—such as Head of Studio, Executive Producer, or VP-level roles—with a history of managing producers or leads. You think deeply about player experience as the foundation of revenue, combining data fluency with a long-term mindset. Familiarity with the casual free-to-play landscape and evergreen game models is essential. Experience with Facebook Instant Games is beneficial. You lead by enabling others, using clear systems and empathy rather than top-down control.
