About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of business development strategies for payment gateway offerings
- Identify and pursue high-value partnership opportunities with financial institutions and technology providers
- Drive revenue growth by expanding into new markets and verticals
- Negotiate and close complex commercial agreements with enterprise clients
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align development with market demand
- Develop go-to-market plans for new payment solutions
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences
- Build relationships with key decision-makers in fintech and e-commerce sectors
- Manage a pipeline of business development opportunities from inception to close
- Provide regular forecasts and performance updates to executive leadership
- Work cross-functionally with marketing to position offerings effectively
- Evaluate potential M&A or investment opportunities in the payments space
- Advocate for customer needs in product roadmap discussions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in payment transactions
- Lead due diligence processes for new partnerships
- Develop pricing and commercial models for new services
- Maintain deep expertise in payment infrastructure and processing technologies
- Drive international expansion initiatives where applicable
- Mentor and grow a high-performing business development team
