Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic direction of the organization as part of the commercial leadership team Americas
- Identify hurdles to overcome and build robust plans to ensure the success of the Americas organization
- Sales lead generation and senior sales leader – visits customers and effectively pitches value proposition to drive sales
- Identify, establish, cultivate long-term strategic relationships with potential clients
- Develop, manage and be accountable for the sales funnel and pipeline
- Setup and host customer engagements with tech sales and application specialists
- Generate sales insights and new business opportunities through utilization of the CRM together with our Marketeer
- Develop and/or validate requirements through communication with clients
- Develop relevant SOPs to guide a consistent approach amongst your team to meeting/exceeding our client expectations in sales processes (pre & post sale)
- Close contracts with other internal groups, e.g. legal, contracts, finance
- Provide sales updates to senior leadership – pipeline, projections, trends
- Be at the forefront of CGT products, market and trends in quality control, and manufacturing technologies
- Coach/train more junior members of staff to deliver on our mission
- Forecast demand to manufacturing and supply chain
- Forecasts sales and maintains revenue accountability of targets
