Responsibilities
- Own and manage sales budgets across Strategic Account Managers.
- Lead expense planning, price rise strategies, and profit improvement initiatives.
- Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management and Salesforce discipline.
- Drive optimisation and conversion improvements across partner portfolios.
- Analyse performance gaps and implement solutions to improve results.
- Make courageous, data-driven decisions to address underperformance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and commercial outcomes.
- Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing sales and account management team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and success.
- Ensure learning, development and succession planning align with business strategy.
- Develop and execute growth strategies to meet revenue and profit targets.
- Build innovative partnerships and expand Allianz Partners’ market presence.
- Maximise revenue and profitability for each client through strategic planning.
- Enable cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across the portfolio.
- Understand market fundamentals and integrate insights into strategy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape new products, services and campaigns.
- Support simplification and standardisation initiatives across client solutions.
- Oversee best-practice client presentations, proposals and reporting.
- Partner with Operations to enhance insights and deliver deeper client value.
- Ensure accurate and timely Salesforce and reporting compliance.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory, legislative and internal requirements.
- Identify and escalate risk exposures, including fraud and corruption risks.
- Embed risk management and compliance into everyday business practices.
- Lead change management and communication strategies for new initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams including Operations, Pricing, Finance, Legal and Market Management.
- Drive partners to deliver exceptional customer experiences on time and on budget.
Requirements
- Strong background in Sales, Account Management or Relationship Management within a large commercial environment.
- Proven success in achieving KPIs and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience managing end-to-end client relationships, including onboarding and growth.
- Ability to identify issues early and implement effective solutions.
- Exceptional presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
- Resilience, commercial acumen and a proactive, can-do mindset.
