Responsibilities

  • Own and manage sales budgets across Strategic Account Managers.
  • Lead expense planning, price rise strategies, and profit improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management and Salesforce discipline.
  • Drive optimisation and conversion improvements across partner portfolios.
  • Analyse performance gaps and implement solutions to improve results.
  • Make courageous, data-driven decisions to address underperformance.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and commercial outcomes.
  • Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing sales and account management team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and success.
  • Ensure learning, development and succession planning align with business strategy.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to meet revenue and profit targets.
  • Build innovative partnerships and expand Allianz Partners’ market presence.
  • Maximise revenue and profitability for each client through strategic planning.
  • Enable cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across the portfolio.
  • Understand market fundamentals and integrate insights into strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape new products, services and campaigns.
  • Support simplification and standardisation initiatives across client solutions.
  • Oversee best-practice client presentations, proposals and reporting.
  • Partner with Operations to enhance insights and deliver deeper client value.
  • Ensure accurate and timely Salesforce and reporting compliance.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, legislative and internal requirements.
  • Identify and escalate risk exposures, including fraud and corruption risks.
  • Embed risk management and compliance into everyday business practices.
  • Lead change management and communication strategies for new initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams including Operations, Pricing, Finance, Legal and Market Management.
  • Drive partners to deliver exceptional customer experiences on time and on budget.

Requirements

  • Strong background in Sales, Account Management or Relationship Management within a large commercial environment.
  • Proven success in achieving KPIs and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience managing end-to-end client relationships, including onboarding and growth.
  • Ability to identify issues early and implement effective solutions.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Resilience, commercial acumen and a proactive, can-do mindset.
