Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term vision for the organization's global application ecosystem
- Ensure enterprise systems are built for scale, regulatory compliance, and technological adaptability
- Lead and align a team of senior technology leads across functional domains
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business units, advancing digital initiatives across departments
- Establish direction for the global SAP environment, including financial and controlling modules
- Oversee the operational execution of SAP strategy by the dedicated team lead
- Support coordination of year-end and interim financial reporting cycles within ERP systems
- Maintain adherence to internal and external audit and compliance requirements across IT platforms
- Provide executive-level guidance on SAP modernization, including migration to S/4HANA
- Serve as primary IT escalation contact for finance, controlling, and legal departments
- Shape the strategic roadmap for the HR technology platform using SAP SuccessFactors
- Act as executive sponsor in collaboration with HR leadership on platform direction
- Drive digitization and process improvements in talent management, performance, and payroll
- Ensure platform compliance with data privacy regulations and integration standards
- Delegate day-to-day management of HR systems to the designated team lead
- Set the long-term direction for the Salesforce platform, including Sales and Service Cloud
- Hold the Salesforce team lead responsible for delivery and performance
- Guide adoption and automation of commercial processes across sales and service functions
- Ensure clear return on investment from platform investments and initiatives
- Oversee architectural governance for integrations between CRM, ERP, and product lifecycle systems
- Establish strategic priorities for product and application lifecycle management platforms
- Support alignment of PLM/ALM roadmaps with R&D and engineering objectives
- Ensure systems meet regulatory standards including ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and MDR
- Define and audit control frameworks at the team and system levels
- Maintain end-to-end accountability for R&D-supporting tools and specialized business applications
