About the Role
This role involves working closely with federal clients to configure, deploy, and enhance HCM systems, providing expert guidance on best practices, compliance, and process improvement within public sector environments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with federal clients to understand workforce management needs
- Configure HCM modules to meet agency-specific requirements
- Translate business processes into technical system setups
- Support data migration and system integration activities
- Conduct testing to validate system functionality and accuracy
- Document configurations and solution designs thoroughly
- Assist in change management and user adoption initiatives
- Provide training materials and conduct knowledge transfer sessions
- Troubleshoot issues during implementation and post-go-live phases
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and security standards
- Work with cross-functional teams to align HCM solutions with financial and operational systems
- Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders across agencies
- Lead configuration workshops and client meetings
- Maintain clear communication throughout project lifecycles
- Support audit readiness and reporting capabilities
- Stay current with platform updates and federal sector trends
- Assist in proposal development and scoping for new engagements
- Validate system performance under government operating conditions
- Promote scalable and sustainable solution designs
- Adapt methodologies to meet federal project management frameworks
Nice to Have
- Workday HCM certification
- Experience with federal payroll or position management modules
- Prior work within a federal agency or government contractor role
- Knowledge of DoD or civilian agency HR operations
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methods
- Experience in security-compliant cloud environments
- Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508)
