Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and maintain structured test plans, procedures, and documentation for embedded hardware and system-level validation.
- Build and manage automated testing frameworks to enhance test accuracy, consistency, and throughput.
- Conduct comprehensive testing across electrical, firmware, software, mechanical, environmental, and system domains.
- Operate and configure lab and environmental testing instruments such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and signal generators.
- Utilize temperature and environmental chambers to simulate real-world operating conditions during testing.
- Employ low-voltage analog and digital measurement tools for precise data acquisition and analysis.
- Design, assemble, and validate custom test fixtures and setups used in product development and qualification phases.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes, tracking defects and resolutions using systems like JIRA.
- Ensure all products comply with established acceptance standards and technical specifications.
- Investigate test failures, determine underlying causes, and recommend effective solutions or mitigations.
- Coordinate compliance and regulatory testing with external certification bodies including UL, CSA, and TÜV.
- Maintain complete, accurate records of all testing activities, results, and identified issues in alignment with quality and development protocols.
- Deliver clear, constructive feedback to engineering teams to support design improvements and product reliability.
