Join a team shaping the foundation of next-generation cloud infrastructure. As a Hardware Enablement Engineer, you'll focus on Linux kernel development, firmware validation, and automated deployment systems that power large-scale cloud and AI environments. Your work will directly impact the reliability, performance, and security of hardware platforms from initial bring-up through production deployment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, configure, and troubleshoot Linux kernels, initramfs, and squashfs images tailored to diverse hardware configurations
- Validate firmware components including BIOS/UEFI, BMC, and CPU microcode across server platforms
- Identify security vulnerabilities, apply patches, and oversee secure firmware updates and verification processes
- Set up and maintain PXE-based network boot environments for efficient bare-metal provisioning
- Automate OS image creation and deployment using Bash, Python, Ansible, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Test and validate operating system installations on physical hardware during bring-up phases
- Design and manage containerized integration environments to simulate real-world deployment scenarios
- Work closely with engineering teams to refine hardware quality tools and deployment workflows
- Own the full lifecycle of system images and propose improvements for scalability and maintainability
- Document firmware and OS validation procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing
What We’re Looking For
- Solid understanding of Linux internals, including kernel boot sequence, initrd mechanics, and filesystem image structure
- Hands-on experience with firmware validation and hardware bring-up processes (BIOS, UEFI, BMC)
- Proficiency with network deployment protocols such as PXE, TFTP, and DHCP
- Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python, with experience in automation frameworks like Ansible
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitLab CI) and container technologies like Docker
- 2–5 years in roles involving system automation, platform engineering, or DevOps
Environment & Benefits
- Hybrid work model allowing up to three days of remote work weekly, with offices in Paris, Lille, Toulouse, Rennes, Rouen, Bordeaux, and Lyon
- Modern office spaces with easy transit access, outdoor terraces, and bike storage
- Onsite chef-prepared meals at headquarters, breakfast offered at all locations, and meal cards for regional teams
- Wellness support including gym access and discounted caregiving services
- Onsite daycare availability and family-friendly policies
- A multicultural workplace with team members from dozens of countries
- English and French used interchangeably; international collaboration is standard
- Opportunities for internal mobility within a growing technology group
Our Culture
