As a Green Room Server at House of Blues Orlando, you play a key role in shaping the artist experience. You’ll be responsible for delivering food and beverage service to performers and VIP guests with precision and professionalism, ensuring every need is met before it’s voiced. Your attention to detail keeps service flowing smoothly, from taking accurate orders to confirming special requests are fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities
- Take and submit food and drink orders using the MICROS system, relaying any dietary needs or last-minute changes to kitchen staff
- Inspect all dishes before delivery to confirm accuracy, presentation, and adherence to rider specifications
- Deliver orders promptly and professionally, maintaining a calm and courteous presence
- Keep green rooms clean, organized, and stocked according to artist requirements
- Remove used service items, clean spills, and reset spaces between acts
- Support setup and breakdown procedures before and after performances
- Stay informed about scheduled acts, special events, and venue promotions
- Assist production staff with documentation for catering cost tracking
Qualifications
Candidates should have 2–5 years of experience in high-volume food service with a strong record in guest satisfaction. A high school diploma is required, along with reliable transportation for off-site requests. Familiarity with wine, spirits, and POS systems—especially MICROS—is highly valued. Certification in responsible alcohol service is preferred.
Work Environment
This is an onsite role located at the House of Blues Orlando within Disney Springs. The pace is fast, the atmosphere electric, and the focus always on excellence. You’ll work backstage, ensuring artists feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout their visit.
