Responsibilities
- Brand stewardship: Maintain and evolve the visual identity of the Instructure learning ecosystem, including the visual relationship between our company and ecosystem and its respective products, programs, and services. You’ll ensure our brand remains consistent across digital, print, and environmental touchpoints.
- Multi-channel campaign design: Execute visual assets for global marketing campaigns, including social media, web banners, email templates, and long-form content.
- Event creative: Support large-scale events like InstructureCon by designing employee and attendee enablement pieces, including Zoom backgrounds, presentation graphics, one-pagers, and social media kits.
- Collaboration: Work with copywriters, content creators, and channel managers to ensure a cohesive user journey.
- Asset management: Manage a high-volume ticket queue (via Asana) and help maintain an organized, accessible library of brand assets for internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of professional graphic design experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- A willingness to explore and experiment with a range of AI tools
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a clean aesthetic and the ability to simplify complex information into a digestible flow
- A deep understanding of WCAG accessibility standards as they apply to color contrast and digital design
- The ability to apply learnings (about design tools, brand guidelines, Instructure audiences, and Instructure products) where applicable across your work
- Strong interpersonal skills—you can explain the why behind your design choices and incorporate feedback gracefully
Nice to Have
- SaaS experience is a major plus
- Basic animation skills and proficiency in Canva and Figma are highly preferred
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing (After Effects/Premiere)
- Knowledge of prepress and print production for large-scale physical events
- Prior experience working in an agile environment using Asana and Slack
