Key Responsibilities
- Direct all strategic discussions, ensuring alignment between global objectives and local market execution
- Validate strategic recommendations using proprietary tools and third-party data sources prior to client delivery
- Establish a unified strategic framework adopted across all markets to maintain quality and coherence
- Identify gaps in strategic thinking early and guide teams to stronger, evidence-based solutions
- Apply deep media expertise to assess how reach, frequency, channel mix, and audience targeting contribute to full-funnel performance
- Ensure strategies are designed with measurement in mind, integrating methodologies such as marketing mix modeling, attribution, and incrementality from the outset
- Inform investment decisions by analyzing performance data, brand health indicators, and channel effectiveness
- Collaborate with planning leads on quarterly and annual resource allocation, grounded in clear strategic logic
- Partner closely with global data, analytics, and insights teams to ensure intelligence shapes every phase of strategy
- Translate research findings into actionable strategic direction and uphold rigorous standards of evidence
- Act as the central link across international strategy teams, aligning workflows and strengthening capabilities
- Develop a forward-looking pipeline of cultural, category, and media trends to enhance client engagement
- Position the agency as a thought-leading partner, not just a service provider
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years in media strategy, planning, or integrated strategy roles within agency environments
- Proven leadership on global or multi-market accounts at a senior level
- Strong grasp of media principles across brand-building and performance channels
- Experience with research platforms such as GWI, YouGov, or Statex
- Familiarity with measurement techniques including MMM, attribution modeling, and incrementality
- Confident in leading high-stakes client discussions and presenting strategic recommendations with clarity and authority
- Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous
