GFIC is hiring a Germany B2C Dietary Supplements Business Development Manager m/f/d

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the B2C supplement portfolio
  • Identify, open, and grow key B2C sales channels: E-commerce (Amazon, online pharmacies, marketplaces)
  • Identify, open, and grow key B2C sales channels: Retail & drugstores (DM, Rossmann, Müller)
  • Identify, open, and grow key B2C sales channels: Pharmacies (Apothekenverbünde, wholesalers)
  • Identify, open, and grow key B2C sales channels: DTC partnerships and digital brands
  • Build relationships with distributors, retail buyers, and category managers
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve ambitious sales targets
  • Negotiate listings, pricing, promotions, and trade terms
  • Develop annual business plans for key accounts
  • Support product positioning, packaging, and marketing strategy for the German market
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to execute campaigns, influencer collaborations, and digital activations
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends
  • Work closely with R&D, regulatory, supply chain, and product management teams
  • Provide market feedback for product development and portfolio expansion
  • Ensure compliance with German and EU supplement regulations

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the B2B dietary supplements sector
  • Commercial background in sales and marketing, ideally with proven success in business development
  • Strong network in pharmacies, drugstores, online retail, or Amazon marketplace
  • Scientific degree, ideally in food technology, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacy, biology, or a comparable field
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a business from the ground up
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Comfortable working from office home office with regular travel

Nice to Have

  • Experience launching or scaling supplement brands in Germany is a strong advantage
