At b-good GmbH, we are seeking a German-speaking Senior FullStack Developer with a backend focus to join our team. You will be responsible for building price comparison platforms and core customer-facing products from scratch to production, in a role defined by ownership, automation, and a backend-first architectural mindset.
What You'll Do
- Build price comparison platforms that help users shop smarter.
- Develop core customer-facing products from inception through to production.
- Automate everything, from infrastructure as code (IaC) to deployments.
- Write hands-on code using Python, Rust, and Next.js.
- Shape architecture and API design with a backend-first focus.
- Deliver seamless frontend features using React + Next.js.
- Take full ownership of tasks: design, build, test, deploy, and monitor.
What We're Looking For
- Entrepreneurial thinking and systematic, resource-oriented time management.
- A proven record of delivering real-world production applications.
- At least 5 years of experience as a full-stack developer.
- Strong backend expertise with Node.js + SQL.
- Solid frontend skills with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Understanding of architecture and system design trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience deploying and running applications on AWS.
- Ability to containerize applications with Docker and use it in CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong production debugging skills: logs, monitoring, issue tracing.
- Willingness to expand into Rust or Python.
- Experience in the consideration and estimation of technical costs.
- Transparent and empathetic communication.
- English language skills at a C1-C2 level.
- A successfully completed bachelor's degree in computer engineering or a similar field.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with SEO.
- Experience with AI coding tools.
- UI awareness.
