Join Amentum as a General Service Technician. In this hands-on role, you will support the facility's infrastructure by ensuring a wide variety of equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will be a key contributor to our maintenance tasks in a culture that values safety, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.
What You'll Do
- Perform inspection, maintenance, and minor repairs to a wide variety of infrastructure equipment.
- Maintain evaporative coolers, blower units, pumps, and conduct weekly maintenance on fixed and mobile plant.
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Support trades and other personnel by undertaking general service duties and cleaning.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- A current Driver’s License.
Nice to Have
- Training in safety procedures such as Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, PPE, Lockout/Tag out, and Working in Trenches.
- Certifications in CPR, White Card, Confined Space, Working at Heights, Forklift Licence, Elevated Work Platform, or First Aid.
- Previous experience with fixed or mobile plant maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize tasks and an understanding of EH&S procedures.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment, complete various service tasks, and keep accurate records.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work professionally with minimal supervision.
- A commitment to uphold the Code of Conduct and adhere to Program and Company Policies.
