Responsibilities
- Guide and support a data engineering team to ensure timely project delivery and high technical standards
- Create and deploy scalable ETL and ELT data workflows on Google Cloud Platform
- Construct and maintain data lakes and data warehouses using BigQuery for efficient analytics
- Design and optimize both batch and real-time data processing systems
- Work closely with architects, business teams, analysts, and developers to align technical solutions with business needs
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices
- Assist in implementing CI/CD pipelines and promote DevOps principles
- Offer technical expertise during project scoping and planning phases
