Responsibilities
- Continuously improve analytical models to track and boost key performance indicators for social gaming products on desktop and mobile platforms
- Collaborate with distributed development teams to ensure accurate and complete data collection
- Develop data-driven business cases evaluating new features, live operations, and strategic initiatives
- Deliver on-demand analytical and financial insights to support internal business units
- Query and retrieve data from company databases to support analysis and train new team members on database structures and query languages
- Build and manage predictive models used in product planning, goal setting, and post-launch evaluation
- Plan and execute A/B tests with statistical rigor to optimize core game metrics
- Serve as the go-to expert for metric design and ensure mathematical validity in reporting and analysis
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, HQL, or MySQL for data querying and manipulation
- Experience using Tableau for data visualization and reporting
- Strong critical thinking and innovative problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with relational database systems and structures
- Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis
- Experience presenting analytical findings to group audiences
- Ability to clearly communicate complex data concepts and results
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
- Foundational knowledge of programming principles and software development methods
