About the Role
The engineer will lead feature development across the stack, collaborate with machine learning teams, and ensure systems are robust and maintainable as the platform scales.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of features, from data modeling to frontend components, creating intuitive interfaces for complex AI-generated insights.
- Design scalable backend systems using Go and PostgreSQL to manage large volumes of structured document data with reliability and speed.
- Integrate machine learning services into the core application, ensuring smooth interaction between predictive models and user-facing functionality.
- Promote strong engineering standards by leading code reviews, writing clear technical documentation, and enhancing monitoring for better system stability.
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of professional software development experience with proven deployment of production-grade systems.
- Strong proficiency in Go, Java, C++, or comparable statically typed languages, including experience with concurrency and distributed systems.
- Solid frontend skills using React, TypeScript, or similar modern JavaScript frameworks to develop and troubleshoot complex user interfaces.
- Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications on AWS, including services such as Lambda, SQS, and S3, with knowledge of Docker.
- Demonstrated ownership in technical projects, with accountability for delivery outcomes beyond just writing code.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Python for data analysis or machine learning workflows, including libraries such as pandas or numpy.
- Background in financial technology, mortgage systems, or automation of intricate business processes.
- Experience using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi, or applying DevOps principles in practice.
